Juicy vegan cevapcici
This dish is traditionally known as cevapcici or minced meat rolls – hearty, spicy, and simply delicious. But who would have thought it would also taste great in a completely meat-free version? We tried it, and the results are impressive! Our vegan cevapcici with sunflower mince are perfect for special occasions and a great surprise for guests who are sure to be delighted. Zutaten
- 76 g sunflower mince
- 250 ml vegetable stock
- 4 tbsp flaxseed flour
- 2 tbsp sunflower flour/protein
- 1 tbsp baking soda
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 4 tbsp sweet paprika powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 3-4 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 tsp chili
- 1/2 tbsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp pepper
- 1 tbsp organic garlic oil
- Organic frying oil for frying
Zubereitung
- Put the organic sunflower mince in a bowl and soak it briefly in the broth.
- Place flaxseed flour, organic sunflower protein, tomato paste, paprika powder, oregano, chili, pepper, salt and garlic oil in a bowl.
- Add 1-2 crushed garlic cloves and parsley if desired and mix well.
- Add the moistened organic sunflower mince and mix everything together.
- Now form thumb-sized cevapcici from the mixture. Fry them in a pan or on the grill.
- Now you can serve it with dips, vegetables, rice, or noodles as desired. Enjoy!
