Sunflower Quiche, vegetarian
Quiche is a French specialty that can be enjoyed both hot and cold. This savory pie is always delicious and can be customized to your liking. With sunflower mince, you can create a vegetarian version, and enjoy a protein-rich dish: vegetarian quiche.
Zutaten
- 250 g flour (type 450 or 550)
- ½ tsp salt
- 150 g cold butter
- 3 tablespoons cold water
- Butter for the mold
- Flour for the mold
- 76 g sunflower mince
- 250 ml cream
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- pepper
- ½ tsp turmeric
- Pinch of chili powder
- 1 onion
- ½ bell pepper
- A leek
- Pinch of sea salt
- Garnish with: Cherry tomatoes Fresh thyme
Zubereitung
- For the base, put flour, butter, water and salt in a bowl and mix the ingredients together
- Then chill the dough for 30 minutes
- Then roll it out with a rolling pin and place it in a greased dish.
- For the filling, heat some oil in a pan and add organic sunflower mince, onions, leeks, paprika, and salt. Fry everything thoroughly.
- Now put all of this into the mold and spread it evenly over the bottom.
- Combine 250 ml of cream, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, chili powder, turmeric, and 4 eggs in a mixing bowl. Mix everything together well.
- Pour the finished mixture into the mold and smooth it out.
- Top your quiche with halved cherry tomatoes.
- Bake the quiche for 30 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius.
